If you feel you are responding in a way that is hypersexual – or you're not sure – you can join our community group. Please know that you are not alone and ANYONE can experience hypersexual behaviours.
Feeling hypersexual?
Hypersexuality can sometimes become a coping mechanism following sexual assault or abuse. This response often comes from the loss of power and control experienced during the trauma, leading individuals to seek to regain that power and control through hypersexual behaviour. This can happen either consciously or subconsciously, and is completely normal as a response to assault or trauma.
Our team is here to help survivors heal by providing information, guidance, and support.
We empower survivors to reclaim their sexual expression in a healthy way and offer confidential support and resources tailored to their journey toward recovery.
